About
I am passionate about transforming organisations and policy through working in partnership with people with lived experience. As an expert in service user participation and co-production, I have spent the last thirteen years designing and implementing public, patient and service user involvement strategies for a range of non-profit and public sector organisations including; NHS England, the British Heart Foundation, Breast Cancer Care, the National Offender Management Service and the Big Lottery.
I have led projects involving peer research, facilitated service user forums, and involved patients and the public in governance, service design, research, policy, campaigns and commissioning. I have particular expertise in engaging with diverse groups and communities often excluded from decision making
I am a highly skilled researcher and facilitator using quantitative and qualitative methods and a variety of innovative deliberative techniques such as open space, world cafe, consensus conference, future search and appreciative enquiry.
